Hello, my name is Joseph Moore. I’m a web developer living and working in New York. I got started in this field a few years ago, bored to tears with my job teaching English in Rio de Janeiro. I took it upon myself to learn Flash/Actionscript, but soon after delved into HTML, CSS, Javascript, and a few other languages. Now, I try to stay up on the latest standards and best practices for web development and design, whatever that might entail.

I’ve been studying a lot about HTML5 at the moment, and am very excited about the future of the web once it becomes the standard. CSS3 is also very exciting, as well as some of the progress that’s been made with microformats. I’ve just started learning ARIA techniques, and I hope to start incorporating them into all the new sites I develop.
