Leave-a-Note is a plugin for Wordpress, that transforms your comment section into a visual representation, making each comment a little post-it notes. If you're not comfortable with code, you should be able to install it painlessly and customize certain content through the admin panel in your blog's backend. If you're a developer or designer, there is support for robust customization through CSS and javascript. Feel free to tinker around with it, and try it out below if you're curious!

  15. wendy says:

this is fun to do, and quite fun to explore notes – but wont it get really unmanageable with multiple posts and multiple comments? I can see notes across months – are they all on one ‘post’?

  16. wendy says:

My browser (IE8) shows ‘error on page’ for this page – though it works beautifully

  41. Karolina Nilsson says:

This was a fun plugin but I do wish they had some sort of ordering system from the beginning. Can I do that? quiet annoying to have to move all of these notes to get to the writing part of the page. :)

  42. STeve Holt says:

    cool story, bro.

  43. Peregrin5 says:

First of all: great plugin guys! I love it, and I plan to make good use of it.

However, it seems that after the initial install, all new posts refuse to use visual comments. The script updates the old posts to accept visual comments, but new ones will not save the ‘On’ status of visual comments.

We were looking through the plugin-script and saw the wpdb-update function, and think that might be the problem because its trying to update an entry that doesn’t exist.

Is there a function that first checks if there is an existing entry, and then if there is, it will update it, and if not it will create it?

teste para o site do gui!

Try it out!
